HOW TO BOOK
To book an apartment with us please email or phone to check the availability of your desired property. We will then forward a booking form to you together with our terms and conditions. Alternatively you can book online using our online booking facility by clicking here.
Names of the persons staying at the property are required together with credit /debit card details. A deposit of £200 is required to secure the booking for you. If the deposit / balance is being paid by an alternative method please note that card details are still required for security purposes.
The balance of rent due is required two weeks prior to check in or immediately if the lead-time to check in is less than two weeks. Please note we are unable to hand over keys unless the required payments have been made.
For lets in excess of four weeks we can invoice on a four weekly basis if requested.
We will advise by email when monies are due and have been taken and issue invoices accordingly. Please note there is no VAT to pay on rent as we own the properties.
Please note that payment for all rental apartments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed. Payment is accepted by debit or credit card or cleared funds – wire transfer (GBP 10 surcharge applies) cash, BACS credit or CHAPS transfer or banker’s draft. Please note that the deposit of £200 required in advance to reserve the accommodation is non refundable. We take Visa, Mastercard, Switch, American Express & Debit / Solo Cards. A 2% charge is payable on credit card payments only, not debit cards.
We require a minimum of 4 weeks notice for any cancellation to your booking. Refunds cannot be given for cancellations less than this notice period unless we are able to re-let the property. Part refunds may be given for longer term paid bookings at the discretion of Lay Your Hat.
All properties and communal areas are strictly NON SMOKING. We reserve the right to make a charge for additional cleaning if required.
By sending us your booking form you are agreeing to pay for any damages or cleaning at the property that is required at the end of your stay in order for us to make the property suitable for re-letting. We kindly ask that you leave properties in a similar condition to how you found them when you moved in and that any damages or breakages or maintenance issues are reported to us as soon as you are aware of them.
